Happiness Coaching
A lasting change in thinking and behavior
requires consistent effort, time and guidance. Additional support is especially
needed for busy executives or
individuals living in a complex environment with no or little
support infrastructure. Personalized coaching
services can provide the necessary support for a faster and
easier
transformation process.
Q. Are your coaching sessions confidential?
A. Yes. Information is never shared with a third party without an
explicit written consent from the client. A Confidentiality Statement is part of
my contract.
Q. Are you a therapist?
A. I'm not a licensed mental health practitioner,
and I do not provide psychotherapy or any other form of
mental health services. I'm a personal and organization development
coach. My coaching
services are designed to help clients achieve their goals and
overcome their performance barriers. My coaching
specialty is leadership development, team success and
personal fulfillment (happiness). I have strong
experience working with individuals and groups in both
organizational and social settings. For more information
on my qualifications, please check the links to my personal and
professional bios in the next questions.
Q. What type of personalities do you work with?
A. I have experience working with diverse personalities, cultures and
backgrounds: from type A to type D personalities, from eastern to western
cultures and from solopreneurs to Fortune 500 executives. To learn more, please visit my
coaching
bio page.
Q. What qualifications do you have for
business and executive coaching?
A. To learn more, please visit my professional profile page.
Q. What age groups do you coach?
A. I am experienced working with adults. I do not work with teens or
children.
Q. What coaching issues do you work with?
A. My particular expertise is in working with people before, during or after
a major change in their life path or career. I help them evaluate their choices
objectively, offer new knowledge and tools to help them achieve their personal
and professional goals. I also provide them with rational support to overcome
their fear, anxiety and stress that normally accompany a drastic life change. I have a forte for
working with clients on:
- Success and leadership development
- Personality assessment and self-awareness
- Creating positive learning, working and living habits
- Eliminating bad habits that affect self-esteem, life performance, and overall happiness
- Change management
- Performance management
- Emotional state management
- Crisis management
- Relationship management (including conflict management, workplace politics and negotiation
skills development)
- Developing a balanced and happy lifestyle
I do not coach couples on marriage, sex, health, or weight loss. I do not
work with alcoholism, drug addictions or clients diagnosed with psychotic or
other mental illnesses. Although developing self-management skills might help
those people, unfortunately, I'm not equipped to handle such cases and I do not
provide medical advice.

Q. What is the length of a private coaching session?
A. All sessions are one to two hours.
Q. What are your coaching hours? Do you offer evening or weekend appointments? A. Typically my appointment are
held Mondays through Fridays, 9AM-5PM.
Q. How many coaching sessions will I need?
A. If you are working on a simple goal and have strong motivation and
commitment to make the change on your own, you
will probably need one or two sessions to
identify your challenges, set your performance goals and create an action plan to
achieve them. If you are in a
complex environment or if you are going through a major
and lengthy change process, you will need more sessions. If you have a specific
number of sessions that you wish to work within, I can tailor our work to
accommodate that.
Q. Do you deliver coaching sessions by telephone?
A. Yes.
Q. Do you offer coaching house calls?
A. No.
Q. Is your office wheelchair accessible?
A. Unfortunately no.
Q. Why did you reject my coaching
request?
A. Just as people are selective about who they hire, I am selective about my
clients. The following are the main reasons why a coaching request would be
rejected:
- A person has a hidden agenda. Those who either blame others for their
challenges, who only desire sympathy, or who want me to act as a judge in a
disagreement, are not ready for coaching. Those individuals can obtain
political and emotional
support for free from their friends and family.
- A person is not committed to change. Without commitment to change,
there is no real transformation.
- A person who is either close-minded or bad mannered is not ready for coaching.
- A person doesn’t really need coaching. S/he could be better
served through the training workshop. In
other words, I cannot justify my fees.
- Either the person has unrealistic expectations from the coaching
services or I am not qualified to help him/her achieve their particular
goals.
- My schedule is full.
Q. What are your consulting and
coaching fees:
- $500-1000 per hour for local sessions in Summerlin
area in Las Vegas. The fee variation depends on the
complexity of the issue and the length of the
coaching program.
- There is an additional fee for coaching sessions
outside Las Vegas.
- The fees for complex executive and
organizational coaching sessions are higher.
Q. How do I pay for coaching sessions?
A. Payment can be made by check, cash or credit card.
